How billing works

Three components, One predictable bill!

Start with the monthly subscription — it activates the platform and refills your credits each cycle. Top up for extra AI capacity when you need it, and pay per server only for the production infrastructure you actually provision.

1Required base

Subscription

Monthly subscription that activates your account and refills your credit balance every billing cycle.

$20/ month
Includes $20 of AI credits each month
  • $20 of credits refilled every billing period
  • Conversational deployment via Hydron chat
  • Automatic Docker, SSL, domain & CI/CD setup
  • Unlimited projects, chats, and deployments
  • Cancel any time — no lock-in
2Optional add-on

Credit Top-Up

Need more AI capacity than your monthly allowance? Add credits to your balance any time.

$5minimum
Top up any amount up to $500
  • Available to active subscribers
  • Charged exactly as credits are spent — by token usage
  • Optional auto top-up with monthly cap
  • Topped-up credits never expire
  • Live transaction history & cost breakdowns
  • Topped-up credits stay even if you cancel
3Per server

Dedicated Servers

Real production-grade servers that Hydron provisions, deploys to, and manages for your apps.

Per server
FLAT monthly fee per provisioned or deployed server
  • One flat monthly fee per server in your inventory
  • Pricing shown up front when you pick a server tier
  • Full SSH access — you own the box
  • Automatic build, deploy, SSL, and domain wiring
  • Add or release servers any time
  • No lock-in — take your infrastructure with you
New here? Every new account starts with FREE credits to explore the platform. When you're ready to keep building, subscribe — top-ups and dedicated servers are billed separately on top, only when you use them.

Token counts are median values measured from real production-scale Hydron actions (dev/test runs excluded). Your real cost scales with repo size and project complexity.

What's an action?

An action is one complete AI-driven step Hydron runs for you — like analyzing your codebase, planning infrastructure, generating a provisioning plan, or executing a deployment. Each one is made up of one or more LLM calls, and credits are deducted at the exact token rates of the model you picked.

Codebase analysis — full repo scan to detect frameworks, dependencies, and runtime needs.
Infrastructure plan — picks servers and datacenters, and assigns your services across them.
Provisioning plan — produces the exact commands, Dockerfiles, and configs to set up a server.
Deployment — builds your Docker images, ships containers to your servers, and runs health checks.
Model rates

Per-million-token rates

These are the exact rates credits are deducted at when each model runs in Hydron. You can switch models any time in your project settings.

ModelInput / 1M tokOutput / 1M tok
Claude Opus 4.7Recommended
Most capable. Best for complex reasoning and long-horizon planning.
$15.00$75.00
Claude Opus 4.6
Previous-generation Opus. High quality, slightly older.
$15.00$75.00
Claude Sonnet 4.6Default
Balanced quality and speed. Good default for everyday tasks.
$3.00$15.00
Claude Sonnet 4.5
Previous-generation Sonnet.
$3.00$15.00
Claude Haiku 4.5
Fastest and cheapest. Best for short tasks and quick iterations.
$0.80$4.00
Cached input applies to prompt tokens reused from recent calls — Hydron leans on prompt caching heavily for long-running flows, so effective cost is often well below the input rate.

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered

Yes. Every new account gets FREE credits to explore the platform, but you'll need an active subscription ($20/month) to keep building past the welcome credits and to top up. The subscription includes $20 of credits each billing cycle.
Your FREE welcome credits are applied automatically and usable immediately — enough to run a real end-to-end deployment, including codebase analysis and infrastructure planning. They're a one-time grant for trying the platform; once you subscribe, your balance switches to the monthly grant and any remaining welcome credits expire.
Anything AI-powered in Hydron: codebase analysis, infrastructure planning, provisioning plans, deployments, and chat replies. The capacity calculator above shows how many of each action a budget typically covers, based on real platform measurements.
Yes — as long as your subscription is active. Top-ups must be between $5 and $500 per transaction, with no daily or monthly limit on how many top-ups you do. Auto top-up can also refill automatically up to a monthly cap you set.
Each dedicated server in your inventory has a flat monthly fee. The exact price is shown up front when you pick a server tier, so you know what you're committing to before you provision. Servers are billed monthly while they exist; release them any time to stop the charge.
Yes. You can pick any of the supported Claude models per project — Opus for the heaviest analysis and planning, Sonnet for an everyday default, Haiku for fast iterations. Switching models is instant and only affects future calls.
It depends on the credit type. Top-ups never expire and stay in your account even if you cancel your subscription. The monthly subscription grant resets each billing cycle, so unused grant credits don't carry over into the next month. Welcome credits are a one-time trial allowance — they expire once you subscribe, when your balance switches to the monthly grant.
Yes — any time, with no penalty. You keep platform access through the end of the current billing period.
